Douglas Murphy
Founder and President
Douglas is an energy entrepreneur and has developed a diverse portfolio of renewable energy projects ranging from Greenfield to acquisition and repowering. He has over twenty years of diverse professional experience including energy production, project development, and hazardous waste remediation and processing, with special emphasis on renewable projects. He has conducted numerous project management assignments. Projects have included:
- Developed 1,000 MW Zephyr Power wind portfolio in Texas; sold to Shell Renewables
- Developed 450 MW Biglow Canyon wind project in Oregon; sold to Portland General Electric
- Investor in 236 MW Ridgeline Energy wind projects in Idaho; sold to BP, Veolia Environnment
- Investor in 65 MW Ridgeline Energy wind project in Idaho; sold to Invenergy
- Developed 100 MW Ridgeline Energy wind project tin Nevada, now Veolia Environnment
- Supplied World’s first wind turbine skyscraper w/architect in Bahrain World Trade Center
- Design and installation of wind turbines integral to design of Strata Building in London
- Acquisition of Stillwater Geothermal power plant; repowered from 6MW to 11 MW nameplate. Formed GMS, LLC to perform O&M at the plant. Developed an additional 20MW. Sold to ENEL.
- Design & EPC of a hybrid wind, solar, diesel sustainable energy system for a West Indies Resort.
- Turnkey supply & EPC of a 100 MW SCGT generating facility in 17 weeks for Idaho Power.
- Turnkey supply & EPC of a 40 MW P&W FT4 GT with DLN emission system for VEPCO in just 7 weeks during a phase shifter loss, ahead of schedule/below budget avoiding state brownouts.

David Abraham
CFO and Principal
David has served as CFO and advisor to energy, media and telecommunications companies. As an independent adviser, David has completed over $800 million of transactions, including private placements of debt and equity, strategic partner transactions, asset sales and acquisitions, project financings and various other advisory services. Other projects have included turnaround management assignments, strategic planning analyses, market research studies and technology assessment projects. Following engineering positions in the energy industry, he joined and later became Vice President of Operations and Finance for a cable television multiple system operator. New York University, Stern School of Business M.B.A., 1982, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Master of Engineering, (American Electric Power fellow), 1978, B.S., Electric Power Engineering 1977. Projects have included:
- Acquisition of Stillwater Geothermal power plant through eight separate transactions; repowering from 6MW to 11 MW nameplate. Formed Geothermal Management Services LLC to perform operation & maintenance of the plant. Developed an additional 20MW. Sold to ENEL.
- Development of 750 KW industrial cogeneration facility, Waterbury, CT.
- Financing for Newport Hydro electric generating portfolio
- Financing for Steamboat Springs 12Mw geothermal plant in Reno Nevada
- CFO for Anefco Energy, a diversified energy services company

Dr. Bevin Etienne
Technical Director
Bevin has 10 years experience in the research and development of renewable energy technologies and their deployment. These include renewable energy resource assessment, small-scale renewable energy solutions, and com¬mercial and industrial energy audits and energy efficiency projects. He has designed and installed hybrid energy systems, including solar and wind projects and has engineered rural electrification systems. He has conducted planning and project development for wind, geothermal, thermal, and solar PV energy, economics and financing of power plants and systems, life cycle analysis and technology trade off for renewable energy systems, optimization modeling of energy systems with a focus on the supply and demand side management of energy, research and development of control solutions for hybrid energy systems and grid integration. - Wind and hybrid power system at Rosalie Resort, Dominica

John A. Proctor
Marketing Director
A ninth-generation West Virginian, John Proctor is a Huntington, West Virginia native with academic degrees in History from Marshall University and a Juris Doctorate from West Virginia University College of Law. He and his family relocated to Charlestown, New Hampshire to support Murphy International’s participation in the renewable energy transformation occurring throughout New England.
In 2000, John was a founder of a U.S.-based, Denmark-licensed wind turbine manufacturing company, Specialized Power Systems. Murphy International became an early investor and strategic partner in the venture. Together, they established manufacturing operations, developed supply chains, and built a pipeline of utility-scale and community-based wind projects.
These efforts included participation in landmark projects such as the world’s first wind-powered skyscraper, the Bahrain World Trade Center twin towers.

Omar Zevallos
Engineering Director
Omar Zevallos brings more than 30 years of domestic and international experience in the energy sector, having held senior technical and leadership roles including Engineering Director, Regional Manager, Project Director, Project Manager, Business Developer, ERP Process Leader, and Consultant.
As a Regional Manager, Omar was responsible for overseeing a portfolio of power projects with a combined contract value exceeding $3 billion, spanning multiple power generation technologies and fuel types. More recently, he led a team of project managers for a major American multinational conglomerate, executing 32 thermal power projects across 9 countries for 21 customers, with a total contract value of $3 billion.
His leadership emphasized risk mitigation, margin improvement, on-time delivery, cash flow management, and overall project and customer satisfaction.

Tatsuro Seguchi
CTO and Director
Tatsuru works as a principal of MIDC during the development of large generating projects. He is a founding shareholder of Energy initiatives Japan. Before establishing the company in July 2005, Mr Seguchi was Head of Japan for International Power, a UK based electric power company. Prior to that, Mr. Seguchi was the founder and CEO of E Power Corp., a power business developer sponsored by a number of companies, including Enron Corp., and Orix Corporation and Yazaki Corporation of Japan. Mr. Seguchi started his career at Marubeni Corporation, a Japanese trading firm and has gained extensive experience in power and energy businesses. He also worked as a Vice President at Sithe Energies in New York. Mr. Seguchi received a BA in Business and Commerce from Keio University, Japan. He also serves as an executive director of Energy Business Solutions Co., Ltd. Projects have included:
